Dear Northwoods voters, I lied, Love, Scott Walker

Walker's transportation funding plan could benefit Northwoods.  (WIFW-TV)
But Gov. Scott Walker believes the next state transportation budget, which will take effect next year, will be different for the Northwoods. Last week, he instructed the state secretary of transportation, Mark Gottlieb, to minimize spending on mega projects in southeastern Wisconsin.

Wherein Walker doesn't make a single reference to a May 13th "greenlight" letter to the Federal Highway Administration.

OK, lets take a look at the numbers.

A nearly $1 billion expected shortfall in the state's transportation budget for the 2017-19 biennium.

A nearly, what's-likely-to-end-up-to-being a $1 billion mega project in southeastern Wisconsin.

No new or enhanced revenue sources.

I wouldn't put any stock in what Scott Walker believes.
