Latest Public Policy Polling (PPP) numbers keep Republican candidates in a jumble

Walker continues to regain his momentum, if the latest PPP poll can be believed.

Digging into the poll.
  • 76% of Perry's supporters and 56% of Cruz's supporters think the U.S. government is trying to take over Texas.  (38% of Scott Walker's supporters think so, for 3rd place.)
  • Christie has an 52% unfavorable rating.
  • Walker's unfavorables, though still low, are increasing.
    • He's losing his earlier advantage with Tea Party members.
    • He's got geezer appeal.  The younger the voter age group, the higher his unfavorables.
