Roehl donation allows for work to start on new library. (Marshfield News Herald, 10/29/2014)
In a press release issued by the committee about the donation Roehl said, “I think this project is very worthwhile for the city, and I am happy to be a part of making it happen.”

Roehl Transport Inc. has become one of the nation’s 100 largest truck companies.

“Mr. Roehl recognizes the important contribution of the library and community center to the community, and he wanted to support it,” Hocking said. “This was an opportunity for him to give back to the community that has been very supportive of his business and family.”

The library and community center project is a collaboration between the library and the city, with the city contributing $3 million to the project. The first phase of the project will cost a total of $7 million.

An additional $2 million will be sought in the second phase of fundraising.
