Your Tax Dollars at Work (Thanks to J. B. Van Hollen Not Doing His Job)

Wisconsin legislator settles open records lawsuit. (Marshfield News-Record, 3/28/2014)

Lame, just plain lame, Sen. Vukmir. Under a settlement finalized Friday, CMD [Center for Media and Democracy] agreed to drop the lawsuit and Vukmir agreed to turn over all the documents related to CMD's request. She said in a statement that multiple searches have yielded more records that didn't come to light initially due to problems with a Yahoo email search.

The documents in question are from an American Legislative Exchange Council conference that Vukmir attended last year.

The State of Wisconsin is covering Leah's ass court costs ($12,500) and damages ($2,500).
